USD (R&E) - Principal Director for Trusted AI and Autonomy (2020 - ) - Providing strategic and planning advice to the Principal Director for Trusted AI and Autonomy. Specifically, assisted in the creating of multi-year technical roadmaps, strategic direction, military requirements and policy guidance, as well as the technical lead on generative AI, AI infrastructure, AI for perception and C2, and Autonomy trust.
Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC)/ Chief Data and AI Office (CDAO) (2019- ) - Advising the Chief Scientist of the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center in the development of strategy, organizational structure and operations, program generation, program oversight, and transition efforts, as well as technical lead on adversarial AI and the stand up of the SBI/STTR program. Large Defense Firm (2019) - Analysis of the autonomy capabilities of a major prime lab through a mapping of its capabilities, its corporate capabilities, and those in the ecosystem. Assessed the goals and needs of autonomy at the lab within the corporate structure as well as matched to potential growth areas. Identification of capability gaps as well as potential solutions.
DARPA STO (2019) - Oceans of Things. Feasibility and design study for DARPA of a distributed, inexpensive sensing for the detection, tracking, and target identification of hypersonic glide vehicles. Study included the target signature estimation, sensor design, and CONOP analysis.
DARPA STO (2019-2020)- COMPASS program (Gray Zone detection and understanding). Senior technical advisor to the DARPA STO COMPASS program developing analysis of grey zone activity. Successfully carried out an experiment with operators that lead to a transition request from INDOPAOCOM.
Long Term Strategy Group (2018-2019) - Collaborated on a study (Anticipating Changes in Future Warfare) for Office of Net Assessment with the Long-Term Strategy Group to examine the potential changes in the conduct of future warfare due to the technology and military competition of the great powers. Includes examination of the intersection of technology opportunities, national security drivers of the major powers, and potential innovative operational concepts and their counters.
